Lilly joins Alexion, Astrazeneca, ATS Life Sciences – Scientific Products, Glaxosmithkline, Genentech, Janssen, Roquette, and Sanofi on the CPPR Industrial Advisory Board. We look forward to Lilly’s participation in our quest to advance pharmaceutical processing. The funds that Lilly has committed to CPPR research are pooled with those of the other member companies. The funds support rigorous academic research into industrially relevant pharmaceutical processing research at the CPPR academic sites, with mentorship from representatives from CPPR companies.

Another Successful CPPR Scientific Conference
Fifty-three industrial scientists, faculty, and students gathered to exchange ideas, report on ongoing projects, present proposals, and give final reports on May 23 at University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. Process advancements in freezing, drying, spraying, mixing, cryopreservation, crystallization, and continuous granulation of small molecular drugs and many biologics were presented.
CPPR faculty, Prof. Lynne Taylor, awarded 2022 Alice E. Till Advancement of Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences Award.
2022 NIPTE Outstanding Student Research Award Goes to CPPR Student, Shipra Malik
CPPR student, Shipra Malik, was awarded the 2022 Outstanding Student Researcher by the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Education. Shipra, a student at the University of Connecticut in Raman Bahal’s lab, joins previous CPPR students, Dana Moseson and Shreya Kulkarni, who won this award in 2019 and 2020.
CPPR Semi-Annual Scientific Meeting is Back In Person at Purdue
On November 7-9, faculty, industrial scientists, students and guests met in person at Purdue University to discuss research proposals and ongoing research on innovations in pharmaceutical processing of small and large molecular therapeutics. Everyone was thrilled to view the students posters and hear the proposal presentations in person after 5 meetings and 2.5 years of meeting virtually!
